How to Actually Put On the Armor Each Day

Paul's command is practical: 'Put on.' This implies a daily, intentional action. Here is one way to do it:

In the morning, before you check your phone, take sixty seconds. Say: 'Lord, I put on truth today — help me live honestly. I put on Your righteousness — I am covered by Christ. I take up the shield of faith — I choose to trust You over my fears. I put on the helmet of salvation — I am Yours and nothing can change that. I take the sword of Your Word — bring to mind the Scriptures I need today.'
