2. License Details & Public Domain Status
World English Bible (WEB)
The World English Bible is a modern English translation of the Holy Bible. It is in the Public Domain (no copyright). The translator, Michael Paul Johnson, has waived all copyright claims globally. The text is sourced directly from USFM archives at eBible.org.
Berean Standard Bible (BSB)
The Berean Standard Bible text is officially dedicated to the public domain under the Creative Commons CC0 1.0 Universal public domain dedication. This allows royalty-free use for any purpose.
Historical Translations (ASV, KJV, YLT, BBE, Webster)
Translations such as the American Standard Version (1901), King James Version (1611), Young's Literal Translation (1862), Bible in Basic English (1965), and Webster Bible (1833) are fully in the public domain due to expiration of their copyright periods.
